The site is loaded with tons of great features designed to keep our members up to date and well connected. Find out what’s new, get feedback on events, share thoughts on international issues, as well as stay in touch with friends and colleagues spread out across the globe. The site is in testing mode, so we are asking that you visit the site at www.scisyp.org, create an account, and take a moment to add some content.

Young Professionals Dine and Discover Las Palmeras
Come join the Young Professionals and Refugee Family Services (RFS) for a dinner adventure at Las Palmeras on 5th Street, in Midtown Atlanta. They provide authentic Cuban favorites like Cuban sandwiches, black bean soup, fried plantains, tamales and rotisserie chicken, but some of the lesser known Cuban delicacies they serve are even better.

This time we team up with Susan Pavlin, who just gave us a presentation about RFS in June’s evening briefing. The Refugee Family Services is an international and ethnically diverse group that helps refugee women and children to achieve self-sufficiency in the United States. They also host cultural exchange and dinner adventure events so American have opportunities to get to know other cultures. So grab a friend along, enjoy a fun evening and a fantastic dinner with YP members and RFS friends.
