Development Department

The Development Assistant internship is a one-semester internship. The student-intern is required to devote between 20 and 40 hours per week during a single academic term. No stipend is provided.

Development Assistants assist with all aspects of development, such as conducting background research on foundations, helping to write grant proposals, and developing relationships with foundations.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for a Development Assistant internship, an applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college or university or be a recent graduate. Applicants must also have excellent writing, editing, organizational, and computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
