Responsible for leading the global strategy, Karen works to imbed sustainability strategies into the Company's brands and business — contributing to sustainable growth.
Prior to joining The Coca-Cola Company six years ago, Karen managed international advocacy campaigns at the WWF-the conservation organization. Following a post-graduate degree in Advanced European Studies, she began her career in Brussels where she tracked European environmental and social policy matters for multi-national corporations such as Mars, McDonald’s and L'Oreal. In March 2007, Karen was named one of the Top 15 Women in business by the Forté Foundation and Pink Magazine (cover story of the March issue of Pink Magazine).

Dennis Creech, Executive Director, Southface Energy Institute
Mr. Creech was a co-founder of the Southface Energy Institute, a private nonprofit organization providing education, technical assistance and research in energy, sustainable technologies, and applied building sciences. He has served as Executive Director for over 25 years. He is a nationally recognized leader in the energy and sustainable development fields. He directed the development of EarthCraft House, a voluntary, market-based green builder program sponsored by Southface, the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, government and private industry. Southface also is active in commercial green building and is a regional affiliate of the U.S. Green Building Council. Mr. Creech is a LEED Accredited Professional, has been an Adjunct Professor in Environmental Studies at Emory University and was named 1999 Environmental Professional of the Year by the Georgia Environmental Council.

Allen Hill, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, United Parcel Service (UPS)
Allen Hill, Senior Vice President for UPS, manages a human resources organization that serves more than 407,000 employees worldwide. Committed to maintaining UPS’s reputation as an employer of choice, Hill oversees the company’s strategy in training, developing and retaining a diverse and highly skilled workforce. A native of Decatur, Ala., Hill received his B.A. from David Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn., and a J.D. from the Nashville School of Law. While attending college, Hill began his UPS career in 1976 as a part-time package loader and sorter. He held positions of increasing responsibility in operations and human resources before joining the legal group. In 1988, Hill joined the legal department as attorney working with the human resources function. He was promoted six years later to coordinator of the corporate legal group. Hill became department manager of the corporate legal group in 1995. In 1999, he established UPS’s Core Counsel Network and worked on the company’s initial
public offering. In 2004, he became General Counsel for the company and served in this role for two years. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Hill is a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel, Tennessee Bar Association, the Supreme Court Historical Society and the Advisory Board of the American Employment Law Council. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Policy Association, the Board of Directors of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Trustees of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.
Mike Troy, Vice President of Human Resources, Siemens Energy and Automation
As Vice President, Human Resources, Mike Troy directs all of the company's strategic human resources programs. In this role, his responsibilities include the employee relations, training and development, human resources services, rewards and recognition, benefits administration, corporate communications and community relations functions. In addition, he serves on the Siemens Energy & Automation Executive Committee. Mr. Troy began his career in 1972 with Scovill Manufacturing Company as a Labor Relations Coordinator. In 1974, he joined Harvey Hubbel, Inc. as a Compensation and Benefits Administrator and was named Corporate Benefits Administrator in 1975. In 1976, Mr. Troy joined GTE Corporation as a Senior Employee Relations Representative. From 1979 to 1983, he served as Personnel Manager and Division Human Resources Manager for several GTE divisions. He began working for Challenger Electrical Equipment Corporation in 1983 as Director, Human Resources. In 1985, Mr. Troy became Vice President, Human Resources and Administration and had total responsibility for the company's Human Resources function. He also had administrative responsibility for environmental affairs, real estate, property and casualty insurance, and pensions. In 1995, Mr. Troy joined Siemens Energy & Automation as Vice President, Human Resources. He graduated cum laude from Providence College. Mr. Troy is active in the National Electrical Manufacturers Association, where he serves as the Chairperson of the Human Resources Committee and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of INROADS/Atlanta and is the Chairperson of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce International Relations Committee.
Rita Wuebbeler, President and Founder, Interglobe Cross-Cultural Business Services, Inc.
Rita is founder and president of INTERGLOBE Cross-Cultural Business Services, Inc. She designs and conducts cross-cultural awareness programs and team building workshops, pre-departure orientations, repatriation programs and cultural business briefings for countries and regions in Europe, Latin America and Asia. A native-born German with living and working experiences in the UK, Spain and Luxembourg, Rita now resides in the Southern United States. She is fluent in German, English and Spanish and delivers training programs in all three languages, both in the U.S. and in Europe. She has recently facilitated bicultural team building programs at telecommunications and pharmaceutical companies, global business skills training at a semiconductor consortium and business briefings on US-German cultural differences in the automobile and pharmaceutical industries in the US and in Germany. Her client list includes Novartis, DaimlerChrysler AG, Siemens, International Sematech, AMD, Georgia QuickStart, Georgia Power Company, Solvay Pharmaceuticals, UCB-Group, The Weather Channel, Robert Bosch GmbH and Random House Publishing Company. Rita holds a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from Mainz University in Germany and successfully completed four intercultural training programs at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Training in Portland, Oregon. She has presented at intercultural and industry-specific conferences worldwide and is a frequent speaker on intercultural topics. She was a founding member of the US-chapter of the Society for Intercultural Training, Education and Research (SIETAR USA and currently holds the position of Advisory Board Member within the association.

Dr. Cedric Suzman, Vice President and Director of Programming, SCIS
Cedric Suzman has been associated with the Center since its inception in 1977 and was elected to the Board of Trustees in January 1988. He was an Associate Professor in the College of Management, Georgia Institute of Technology from 1974-1977. Dr. Suzman received a BS (Engineering) degree from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, and his MBA and DBA degrees from the Harvard Business School. He has edited and authored a number of publications on foreign investment in the Southeastern United States, on export management, and on strategic planning. He has lectured on international business, marketing, and strategic planning topics for executive management courses, including the Emory University Executive and Evening MBA programs, the University of Pittsburgh Management Program for Executives, and the University of Michigan International Marketing Management seminar. Dr. Suzman has lived in Atlanta since 1974 and has participated in numerous community activities.
He is on the Board of Trustees of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Jewish Committee, the Advisory Board of the Georgia Tech Center for Business Education and Research (GT CIBER), the Advisory Board of the European Union Center of the University System of Georgia, and the International Affairs Advisory Board at Kennesaw State University. He is also on the Advisory Council of the International Community School.

David Davis, Corporate Secretary and Senior Vice President, Government Affairs, ChoicePoint
David W. Davis is the corporate secretary and senior vice president for government affairs. Davis’ primary responsibilities are to oversee the office of the corporate secretary and government relations, and to create and administer policies on corporate governance.
Before joining ChoicePoint, he served in the Office of U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, (R-Texas) as the Senator’s principal advisor on national security and foreign affairs and as chief of staff.
Prior to working in the Senate, Davis spent over 20 years in the United States Army retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. During his military career, he served in a variety of command and staff positions as both a field artillery officer and foreign area officer specializing in Korea and Northeast Asia.
Davis remains engaged in national level policy and security as a Pentagon consultant and a member of the Pentagon’s Threat Reduction Advisory Committee. He is also active in the Atlanta community as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Atlanta Boy Choir and the Board of Directors of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
Clinton E. Johnson, Executive Vice President & Head of Foreign Casualty Underwriting,

Clint Johnson was named Executive Vice President, Head of Foreign Casualty Underwriting for ACE Global Underwriters Group, in March 2007. Based in Philadelphia, he oversees underwriting, marketing and business development for the following business segments: Defense Base Act (DBA) Workers Comp, International Advantage®, Controlled Master Program (CMP) and Cash Flow. The ACE USA Foreign Casualty Underwriting team offers global casualty insurance designed to minimize the potential impact of personal and financial risk to U.S.-based companies and organizations doing business on foreign soil.
With more than 28 years of experience in the insurance arena, Mr. Johnson joined ACE USA in 2001. He most recently served as Senior Vice President, Errors & Omissions (E&O) for ACE Professional Risk Division, where he was responsible for all non-medical and non-financial institutions-related E&O products. Prior to his tenure with ACE USA, Mr. Johnson held a variety of senior leadership positions in underwriting, brokerage, claims and reinsurance at American International Group’s (AIG) National Union E&O Group and at Interstate Insurance Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fireman’s Fund/Allianz.
Mr. Johnson earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois and his M.B.A. from Loyola University in Chicago.

Mac Durrett, President, Durrett and David Risk Management; Trustee, SCIS
William McPherson ("Mac") Durrett has over 25 years experience in risk management and insurance as an underwriter, broker and consultant. In these capacities he has worked with both mid-market and large multi-national companies based both in the U.S. and in Europe. The consulting services Mac offers to clients include risk management and insurance audits; due diligence assistance in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; risk funding and retention analyses; administrative studies; insurance and risk management program design; management of competitive vendor and broker bidding processes; strategic planning and continuous counsel. He began his work in insurance in 1982 when he became an underwriter for Chubb and Son Inc., working in their Atlanta office and later relocating to open an underwriting department in Chubb's Charlotte office. Mac returned to Atlanta in 1988 when he joined insurance broker, Johnson &Higgins Inc. (J&H), which was later acquired by Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (Marsh). As a Vice President in Marsh's Atlanta Office, Mac served a number of roles including Broker and Client Executive for mid-sized and large multinational companies, Manager of J&H's International Department, and Sales Leader of Marsh's Risk Management Department. Mac is President of Durrett & David Risk Management, Inc. He joined D. L. Tibbals Risk Management Consulting Inc., the predecessor of Durrett and David Risk Management in 2003. Mac received his BA from Kenyon College in Ohio. Throughout his career he has made it a practice of giving his time and energy to others. Currently he serves as an Elder of the Trinity Presbyterian Church and is a Trustee for The Southern Center for International Studies. He is also a former Trustee of Congregations for Affordable Housing.
